Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University<\/strong>, previously known as St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, is a renowned medical university in Russia that offers medical education in\u00a0<\/span>pediatrics<\/span>. The university is located in St. Petersburg and has a license to provide training in the English language. It is the oldest and most prestigious university for pediatric medical education in Russia, formerly known as Leningrad Pediatric Medical Institute. <\/span><\/p>

The main building of the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University was constructed on the hospital’s territory. During the Russian Civil War, the hospital was forgotten, but it provided a home for a large number of orphan children after the war. This led to more funding from the authorities, and in 1925, the Scientific-Practical Institute of Maternity and Infancy Protection, named after Clara Zetkin, opened. The institute’s structure was then refurbished and included many more facilities and departments.<\/span><\/p>
